A trio of Bollywood’s biggest stars–Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan–provide the marquee for this politically driven film. Rai-Bachchan plays Anita Rajan, the CEO of a power company who wants to bring a plant into a rural region. Though it takes little to convince a young Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan) of the plant’s positive effects, an older man (Amitabh Bachchan) is much more difficult to persuade. But it turns out that the elder man was the wise one when true motives are revealed. This Hindi-language film is a family affair: father and son actors Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan star along with the younger man’s wife, Rai-Bachchan.
